We love gardening and enjoy so much getting out together as a family and playing in the dirt. We love to put forth the effort of putting seeds in the ground and then feeling the joy of the harvest. We find such pleasure in tending and nurturing our little plants and then relish in the fruits of our labors. We thought it would be an interesting experiment this year to find out just how much money our garden saves us in dollars. We really want to put a value on all of our hard work. So this year we are going to weigh and catalog our harvest to give us an idea of what it would cost us to simply buy what our garden produces at the store. We will keep a running total here and on the side bar so you can see the savings add up throughout the year!
